With the release of SYBREED's new album, The Pulse Of Awakening, the band have decided to propose a little challenge to their most devoted fans, as well as the other people who would like to take part of it, in the form of a contest.

Says Listenable Records:

"Here is the deal:

1) Produce your own 10 to 15 seconds video advertising The Pulse Of Awakening and send it before December 21st to contest@listenable.net .

2) We will then launch the best ones on Sybreed's official YouTube Channel (The SyTube for short) and the video that has been viewed the most after two weeks will be declared the winner.

3) The creator of this video will be rewarded with 2 T-Shirts, Sybreed's complete discography and a signed poster. The video will be posted as well in the media section of the band's MySpace page.

And yeah: for obvious reasons, please make sure you avoid any political imagery (guys with small moustaches are utterly forbidden), as well as explicit violence or gore (Sybreed aren’t CANNIBAL CORPSE after all), and if you include porn, your video will be kept for our personal use only.

Sybreed recently posted their cover of KILLING JOKE's 'Love Like Blood' on their official MySpace page.

The track is pulled off of the band's album The Pulse Of Awakening, which will be released via Listenable Records on the following dates:

November

20 - Germany
23 - Rest of Europe

The North American release is planned for January/February 2010 but the digital version will be available in the winter says the band.

Sybreed recently completed The Pulse Of Awakening and commented: "We just came back from the mastering, as usual at Naïche's California Studio in Geneva, and it sounds really, really huge. Rhys Fulber (FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, FEAR FACTORY) did an amazing job on the mix and we can't wait for you to hear this new beast. Its release is still planed for Winter 2009. This information has already been issued on the net, but we would like to confirm the final tracking list and final cover (click photo left), made by Seth Siro Anton (SEPTICFLESH, MOONSPELL).
