Tabu Recordings Ink Deal With CODE

Tabu Recordings has issued the following update:

"British/Norwegian black metal project CODE, featuring new vocalist Simen Hestnaes (a.k.a. ICS Vortex; DIMMU BORGIR, ex-ARCTURUS) has signed to Tabu Recordings.

Originally formed in 2002, Code released an EP titled Neurotransmissions - Amplified Thought Chemistry that same year and later on signed to Spikefarm through which they released their debut, Nouveau Gloaming, in June of 2005.

Vocalist Kvohst left to join DHG in 2006 and the band's new lineup, bassist /backing vocalist Viper (a.k.a. Vicotnik, DHG), guitarist and song-writer Aort, vocalist Simen Hestnaes (Dimmu Borgir, ex-Arcturus) with new drummer, Asgeir Mickelson (SPIRAL ARCHITECT, BORKNAGAR) will enter the studio to record their second album by the end of 2007 (tentative release date around spring 2008)."
