Montreal viking thrash metallers TALAMYUS have parted ways with guitarist Nicolas Vincent, who has left the band to pursue other personal interests.

Says the band, "We wish him good luck. A replacement, for the upcoming tour, has been found in Oli from UNDER THE GRAVE."

As previously reported, Talamyus are gearing up for their second tour of the year (this time supporting KRISIUN, for a 15 date trek) and writing new material (already three new songs ready for album number three), scheduling new shows for the end of 2008 (in December, supporting label mates PROFUGUS MORTIS) and early 2009.

Benoît (lead singer, guitar) is currently writing music for a short film, to be released next year via Metalskin. A video will also be shot early next year.
