Australian goth/metal band TEMUJIN and Renaissance Records have announced that the North American live dates originally planned for late 2008 have been rescheduled to 2009.
Instead, the band will be bringing forward plans to record new material, which should begin sometime in August.
The change in schedule has been brought about because lead vocalist Kelly is expecting her second child in mid November.
"We are disappointed that we won't be able to bring our music to the US as planned... but very excited about the arrival of a new child. We'll now focus on writing and recording in the lead up to the birth, and then launch into 2009 with new material and a return to live work. Nothing is cancelled - just rearranged! And a new child means that 2009 will be a fantastic year both personally and professionally - we can't wait."Temujin are Kelly (vocals, keyboards) and Karl Lean (guitars, bass and drums). 1000 Tears is the powerful debut album. Released into the US retail market in May 2008, 1000 Tears has met with widespread critical acclaim.
