Textures headed back to Asia in 2012 and 2013, where the band played as headliner at the NH7-Weekender in India (Pune and Kolkata) and at the Silence Festival in Nepal. This also included the farewell show of ex-guitarist Jochem Jacobs at the show in Pune, where Textures entered the stage with three guitarists for the first time in the history of the band. Besides that Textures was there to play at these grand festivals, the band loves to discover the country as well. Due to the fact that the band has not yet released this material before, it has been molded in a 9:30 minute lasting documentary-like podcast for your viewing pleasure.

With their fifth album in the works, Textures will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut album, Polars this year. On account of this special occasion Textures will be playing an exclusive headline tour through Europe in October, during which the band will be performing the debut album Polars in its entirety, supplemented with songs from their other albums.

For two of these shows the band has invited some special guests to make the festivity even bigger. These guests will be announced later these coming months.

In 2004 Textures made a blast into the metal scene with their debut album Polars. Inspiring later bands like Periphery, Tesseract and Monuments, their state of the art combination of diverse metal styles would pave the way for new genres as modern-, prog-, math-metal and djent.

In honor of this, Textures will be releasing Polars exclusively on vinyl for the first time. Polars is still the only missing vinyl record in the four-album discography of the band. Also the band will be releasing new Polars related merchandise. Items can be purchased later this year.

The Polars 10th Anniversary Tour marks a last flash-back before the band will head into a new future and a new album cycle with Nuclear Blast Records.
