THE 11TH HOUR - New Song Preview Available

THE 11TH HOUR, the band featuring Ed Warby (GOREFEST/HAIL OF BULLETS) and Rogga Johansson (RIBSPREADER/PAGANIZER), have posted another preview from their debut album, Burden Of Grief. Click here to listen to the track 'Atonement'.
In a song description the band adds: "A long overdue visit to the cemetery... a cold, weathered gravestone... a raven sits perched on top of it, staring at him with its beady eyes... he's desperately looking for Atonement, but there's none to be found in this damp soil."

Making a full-fledged doom album is a wish come true for Ed, as it gives him a perfect opportunity to worship unconditionally at the Altar of the Riff. Although both Ed and Rogga are mostly known for their considerable death metal prowess and have previously worked together in the death metal juggernaut DEMIURG, both love doom in all its guises and embraced this opportunity with great enthusiasm. For Ed this marks a double first: not only did he write all the song material, he also plays every single instrument on the album as well as handling half the vocal duties. Rogga contributes his renowned guttural growls and wrote the haunting lyrics together with Ed.
