THE BOB MITCHELL BAND - featuring former ATTACKER singer Bob Mitchell - have issued the following update:

Hard rock/heavy metal vocalsit Bob Mitchell (The Bob Mitchell Band, BLACK HAG) along with guitarists Frank Oquendo (The Bob Mitchell Band) and Pete Vorias (Black Hag) has signed an exclusive management deal with Pennsylvania based A.T.A. Management. The terms of the contract state that it will support and guide the career paths of both The Bob Mitchell Band and Black Hag.

A statement from their manager, Jimi Popeski, reads as follows: "We here at A.T.A. are both proud and honored to have Bob Mitchell and his respective bands added to our roster. After lengthy discussions, and sharing our views, both Bob and myself agreed, that, his vision, and A.T.A.'s approach belonged together. With the current music trend returning to the style of the hard rock bands from the 70's and 80's, it's an exciting time for all of the people who were part of it and stayed in the game.

Be on the lookout for some cool things from the BMB/HAG camp! It's going to be a busy year, with quite a few surprises. As Bob continues to please his many fans, with his new works, I'm convinced he will make many more along the way.

Bob Mitchell's contribution to the rock and metal worlds speaks for itself. From his days of fronting international touring band Attacker, to his current groups The Bob Mitchell Band and Black Hag. All of his fans, from around the world, should be very pleased with his upcoming release, Days Gone By, from the BMB and the upcoming debut from Black Hag. Bob is currently in negotiations with a booking agency so fans can also look forward to select dates for the BMB in late spring thru the summer of 2009 and quite possibly, beyond. Black Hag will begin to record its debut album this coming May and will record into the fall season.

With regards to the BMB's Days Gone By album, I'm looking forward to meeting with Bob's label to finalize some important details. ALL of the proceeds from the album sales will go to charity. I will make all of this, and more, a priority for me and everyone here A.T.A. Thank you! "
