THE DOORS newly released Live At The Bowl '68 has made an impressive debut at #1 on the Billboard Top Music Video Chart.
Live At The Bowl '68 features a newly restored version of the band’s the legendary 1968 Hollywood Bowl concert. For the first time, the film from the historic performance has been painstakingly restored using the original camera negatives and the audio has been remixed and mastered from original multi-tracks by the group’s engineer and co-producer Bruce Botnick. This new restoration offers a stunning visual upgrade from earlier versions and will give fans the closest experience to being there live alongside Jim Morrison, John Densmore, Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek, who opined, “You can hear it as if you were at the Hollywood Bowl, on stage with us.”
Live At The Bowl '68 is available now on Blu-Ray, DVD, and digital video from Eagle Rock Entertainment and on CD and digital audio from Rhino. A double-LP of the show will be released on November 13th.
Live At The Bowl '68 will also debut theatrically this week with several exclusive “one night only” screenings. The first screenings are set to begin on November 6th and will continue in select markets across the US throughout the month of November.
