THE RESISTANCE Unveil Rise From Treason EP Artwork; Free Track Download Available

THE RESISTANCE - the Swedish metal band featuring Jesper Strömblad and Glenn Ljungström (both ex-IN FLAMES), vocalist Marco Aro (ex-THE HAUNTED, FACEDOWN), drummer Chris Barkensjö (ex-KAAMOS, ex-GRAVE) and MINORA guitarist Claudio Oyarzo - recently inked a deal with EarMusic, who will release their debut EP, Rise From Treason, (out January 25th in Europe, January 29th in North America), followed by a full-length album later in the year.
The band have now unveiled the cover for the Rise From Treason EP. They are also offering a free mp3 of the track 'Slugger', at this location.
Far from a “supergroup” or “side project,” The Resistance is a veritable gang embracing the musical attitude and sounds of Swedish oldschool death metal and the traditional “no compromise” values of hardcore.
Comments Strömblad simply: “This is gonna be some good violent fun!”
Rise From Treason EP will be released as a digital download and limited edition 7? vinyl.
