British extreme metallers THE ROTTED (previously known as GOREROTTED) will headline the Corrosion TV launch party at the Voodoo Rocks Halloween show.

The band comment: "This frightfully good night takes place at Voodoo Rock Club's Halloween event at the Electrowerkz in Angel, London from 10 PM - 6 AM on Friday, October 30th.

Before you are sacrificed by LORD BELIAL, you will be entertained for one last time by an amazing array of bands: The Rotted, NO MADE SENSE, SACRED MOTHER TONGUE and YOUR CITY IS FORGOTTEN. THE FUEL GIRLS will also be titillating you throughout the night with their explicit performances, and tempting you with their naked flesh.

Should you feel the need to shake your bones one last time, there will be two dance floors playing the best in rock, metal, and punk. There will also be a chill out room screening some horrific sights to ensure you pass into the next world in the most brutal way."

The Rotted will join ALESTORM and EDEN'S CURSE for a run of UK shows in December.

Says guitarist Tim Carley: "As everybody must already know by now, The Rotted are huge fans of all things metal so we are fucking excited to take this mixed bill out on the road. There are those who think bands should stick to one scene and they are so fucking wrong, metal is a way of life and we won't have anyone tell us how to live our lives, no rules, no gods, no governments!! This tours gonna be a fucking blast and it will be great to hook up with our drinking buddies and trash and pillage some towns together".
