THE SWORD Announce More US Dates

THE SWORD has announced a second leg of US tour dates in support of its new album, Gods Of The Earth.
The scheduled 20 city trek will kick off on May 9th in Ft. Worth, TX. Support on The Sword tour will be provided by Florida’s Torche and Philadelphia’s Stinking Lizaveta. Check out the tour’s official admat at this location.
On April 14, The Sword will kick off a west coast US headlining run. The 13 city jaunt will feature support from SLOUGH FEG and Brooklyn progressive thrash trio CHILDREN. The Sword’s first UK tour backing the impending new album is underway now.
The Sword has also been announced as one of the featured artists of the 2008 Bonnaroo Music Festival, set to take place June 12th - 15th in Manchester, TN. A full listing of upcoming The Sword live dates follows this message.
The Sword’s Gods Of The Earth will drop on April 1st via Kemado Records. The follow up to the band's debut Age Of Winters, Gods Of The Earth was recorded at Folkvang Studios in Austin, TX, and is said to be “more ambitious, more accomplished and simply bigger.”
