Austin, Texas' THE SWORD are releasing their new album, Gods Of The Earth, on April 1st via Kemado Records. Groundcontrolmag.com is offering up the first single, 'Fire Lances Of The Ancient Hyperzephyrians', as a free download.
Gods Of The Earth was recorded at Folkvang Studios in Austin, TX, and features the following tracklisting: 'The Sundering', 'How Heavy This Axe', 'Lords', 'Fire Lances Of The Ancient Hyperzephyrians', 'To Take The Black', 'Maiden, Mother & Crone', 'Under the Boughs', 'The Black River', 'The White Sea'.

In addition to the full length, the group is also releasing a 10" picture disc on March 18th containing 'Fire Lances Of The Ancient Hyperzephyrians' as well as the b-side, 'Codex Corvidae'.
