THRESHOLD Start Work On New Album

UK-based progressive metallers THRESHOLD have started writing material for the follow up to their last album, Dead Reckoning. The new album is due for release through Nuclear Blast Records sometime in 2011.
Threshold will record the new volume at Thin Ice Studios in the UK, with production as usual by Karl Groom and Richard West.
The band's last studio album, Dead Reckoning, was released in 2007 and enjoyed chart success in the UK, Germany and Holland. Threshold have since released a double album compilation, The Ravages Of Time, and a box set entitled Paradox - The Singles Collection.
Threshold have announced three shows for next year with more to follow. Their 2011 schedule is currently as follows:

2 - Fused Festival - Lydney, UKAs previously reported, Threshold vocalist Damian Wilson has been documented in DWB: Cheers Lads! 20 Years Of Avoiding A Job, the first ever video documenting the musician, the performer, the person. From the makers of music DVDs like PAIN OF SALVATION's The Two Deaths Of Pain Of Salvation and NEAL MORSE's Sola Sciptura & Beyond, the document is filled with live performances (including the entire Zoetermeer gig of october 2009) a candid and personal conversation with Damian, an extended tour documentary and countless extras.
Damian Wilson career took him across the world fronting for international acts like RICK WAKEMAN's The English Rock Ensemble, Threshold, LANDMARQ, LA SALLE and ARJEN LUCASSEN'S STAR ONE. As a solo artist Damian has released four albums.
The DVD set will be released early 2011.
