THY FLESH CONSUMED, HATE DIVISION To Headline Atlantic Canada’s Thrashfest 2009

Atlantic Canada’s premier metal festival is pleased to announce the official line-up for Thrashfest 2009, which will be held at Gus’ Pub in Halifax, Nova Scotia on August 28th and 29th.
The two night music festival will feature a dozen of the finest heavy metal bands in the region. Friday night’s headliner will be Halifax’s own death grind master’s THY FLESH CONSUMED who will be performing material from their highly anticipated forth album ‘Unrepentant’ which will be released in October on Diminished Fifth Records. Other acts for Friday’s showcase include TERRATOMB, HELLACAUST, NORTH END METAL ALL STARS, BIG GAME HUNT and CICADA. Saturday’s headliner will be HATE DIVISION from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia and supporting acts for the second night include festival organizers FISTFIGHT, ORCHID’S CURSE, SELECT AND DISMEMBER, PANIC & WAR, and LEGIONS OF CHAOS. Tickets for the event will be $8.00 for a day pass or $12.00 for both nights. Advance Tickets are on sale at Gus' Pub and Random Play in Halifax and CD Heaven in Dartmouth.
