BW&BK; has received the following press release:

Hollywood legends TUFF have announced a run of tour dates leading up to their appearance at this year’s Rock Gone Wild festival. Tuff built a huge following on the Sunset Strip in the late 80’s selling out Gazzarri’s, Troubadour, The Roxy, Whisky-A-Go-Go and the 1,000 seat Country Club in Reseda. They also toured nationally, were seen in the classic film Decline Of The Western Civilization Part 2 - The Metal Years, and appeared on the pages of every hard rock magazines at the time…all without a record deal! Atlantic Records finally took note of the hard working band and released their debut full length, What Comes Around Goes Around, in May 1991. Hailed as a hair band classic, it included the #3 MTV hit video, 'I Hate Kissing You Goodbye'. The band's 2001 comeback single 'American Hair Band' is the most requested song on XM Sirius (Hair Nation) and still gets heavy spins on Rock Radio stations globally.

After staying quiet for several years Tuff recently finished a run of spring dates on the West Coast along with shows in Mexico, Germany, Italy & Switzerland. Joining longtime Tuff vocalist Stevie Rachelle (And Metal Sludge CEO) is original bassist and co-founder Todd “Chase” Chaisson. Chase rejoined Tuff earlier this year after a 17 year absence.

Another Tuff alumni makes his first live appearance with the band in 15 years, drummer Jimi Lord who toured with the band during the Fist First and Religious Fix (BMG/Mausoleum) tours (1993-95). Rounding out the line up on guitar is Jack Aurora a former Warner Bros. recording artist with Sister Whiskey.

Tuff have personally selected LA underground hard rockers KILLINGBIRD to open this run. Killingbird guitarist Skyla Talon has spent the past three years touring and recording with SCUM OF THE EARTH. After 2 studio releases on EMI/2KSounds, Killingbird’s new album, Scar, is out now on Cleopatra Records. Key tracks include the riff-heavy 'Love You Dead' and 'Say The Words'. Hard driving lead track 'Ride Along' made its debut late last year on the Limited Edition vinyl release, Bumps & Rails, alongside tracks from LA GUNS, THE 69 EYES and GEMINI FIVE. Former FASTER PUSSYCAT bassist Eric Stacy lends his unique style to the reflective 'Killed In California'.

Killingbird’s Christian and Skyla’s nasty side project, THE ROTTEN BASTARDS, hits the streets on vinyl only 7/14 via Cleopatra Records.

Special appearances on the tour come from former IRS/Grand Slamm recording artist CRY WOLF, hard-touring fast-rising VAINS OF JENNA, STAR FUCKERS (feat: Eric Dover & Stephan Adika) and Sweden’s DAMAGED DOLLS.

17 - Whisky A Go Go - Hollywood, CA (with Star Fuckers)
