June 3, 2007, 17 years ago
The Classic Metal Show, heard live weekly on Saturdays from 9 PM - 3 AM (EST) at www.theclassicmetalshow.com, have issued the following update regarding their upcoming June 9th show:
"he time has come for the Governor of Texas to finally appear on The Classic Metal Show. That's right, the great Udo Dirkschneider has agreed to come on the show next week. He'll be checking in from Germany to talk about his brand new U.D.O. album, called Mastercutor. We'll do a New Music Listening Party with Udo, and we'll chat with him about all things U.D.O., ACCEPT, his fondest Texas memories and whatever else comes up with the guy most famous for putting his 'Balls To The Wall'.Additionally, it's been a little while since we've had an author on the show, but a project has come along that completely warrants attention from the CMS Audience. Author Chris A. has penned a book called A Vulgar Display Of Power, which details the tragic events of December 4th, 2004 - a night that saw guitar legend Dimebag Darrell Abbott murdered in Columbus, OH. The book is horrific, yet amazing in it's thoroughness. We'll chat with Chris about the book, and do a lot of remember of Dimebag and the other victims of that tragedy.
Finally, it's time for another SCORPIONS album. They are back with a brand new album called Humanity: Hour 1. It's typical Scorpions, just the way most have enjoyed them since the Savage Amusement release. We'll be featuring a good portion of the album on the show as a New Music Listening Party. We're also going to try to get someone on the show from the band as well."
