Relapse Records recordings artists UNEARTHLY TRANCE have completed recording the follow-up to their album The Trident.
Entitled Electrocution, the album should see the light of day sometime in early 2008. Mastermind Ryan Lipynsky claims that this is the best Unearthly Trance album yet that will incorporate many elements from the band's past, while also touching new ground.
Recorded in Chicago with Sanford Parker, the tracklisting for Electrocution is as follows: 'Chaos Star', 'God Is A Beast', 'The Dust Will Never Settle', 'Diseased', 'The Scum Is In Orbit', 'Religious Slaves', 'Burn You Insane', and 'Distant Roads Overgrown'.
The Japanese version will include a bonus track which is a re-recording of the track 'Frost Walk With Me'.
In other related Ryan Lipynsky news, his black metal project, THE HOWLING WIND, have just released their debut album Pestilence & Peril via Profound Lore Records.
