VALUME NOB In Negotiations With Index Entertainment

New Orleans based act VALUME NOB check in with the following update from guitarist Frey Thieler:
"We are proud to say that Valume Nob is currently in negotiations with Index Entertainment, based out of Austin, Texas, for our debut record entitled Residue And Bones.We are extremely excited to be talking with Index, and the deal should be closed within the next couple of weeks. Index Entertainment is home to the legendary BILLLY MILANO (M.O.D.) ex-front man of S.O.D, and also the Australian based rock group BUG DUST.
Valume Nob has been shopping Residue And Bones for nearly a year and has had plenty opportunities to release this record, but has held out for the right choice. We are very pleased to find our home with Index, as we feel very comfortable and close with them. Much thanks and anticipation to making this a very successful journey beginning in 2007.

As for band info and touring information, Valume Nob is proud to say that we will be working extremely hard in the months to come in preparation for the release of Residue And Bones. A release date has not yet been set, but I could probably guess some where around March or
April, 2007.
Valume Nob plans to tour extensively, beginning somewhere around the release date of the record. We appreciate all of our fans, and especially Index for making this situation possible, and Valume Nob plans to make a strong impact in the business in 2007."
