VELVET REVOLVER Drummer MATT SORUM Performing With STEVIE SALAS This Saturday At Canadian Aboriginal Awards In Toronto

Guitarist Stevie Salas has issued the following update:
"MATT SORUM ON DRUMS!!!!Yep, I can't believe it myself. I am gonna play a concert this Saturday, November 29th in Toronto, Canada at the Sound Academy, and for the first time live my pal Matt Sorum, the mighty drummer of THE CULT, GUNS N' ROSES and VELVET REVOLVER will be rockin' in the trio with myself and Jara Slapbak on bass.
We will also do a song Friday night at the Rogers Toronto Blue Jays Stadium for the Canadian Aboriginal Awards ( I think I am up for Best International Rock Record). I have recorded with Matt plenty of times, but Matt gettin' funky on songs like 'Born To Mack' and 'Blind' is something to see and hear! He is awesome and as always Jara in on point
On Thursday there will be no turkey for me since I will host the Can Ab awards dinner party, which is a great honor. I love hangin' with the people's people
I hope I see everyone at the dinner and also at my concert. Also on the bill are two great guitar players, George Leach and the Juno Awards winning Derek Miller.
After that I gotta get back to Winnipeg, Canada to shoot my TV series show intros, so yes I will be freezing!!!! Until then kiddies stay tight.
