In the first hour, Vicious Rumors axemaster Geoff Thorpe gives the low down on the band's pounding new album Electric Punishment, which sees the band firing on all cylinders, in one of the most productive periods of recording and touring of their 30 year career. Geoff chooses songs from the new release and talks about the band's touring plans for the rest of 2013.
Also in the first hour, guitarist Anton of Finnish melodic metal band Battle Beast talks about the intense year leading up to the release of new album Battle Beast, which saw the band snatching victory from the jaws of defeat with the eleventh hour recruitment of new lead vocalist Noora on the eve of a tour last year, following the sudden departure of their previous vocalist.
Part 2 features an exclusive chat with Jimmy Bain, who talks about WILD HORSES, the band he formed with former THIN LIZZY/MOTÖRHEAD guitarist Brian Robertson in 1978. The band's two albums, Wild Horses and Stand Your Ground have now been reissued on Rock Candy Records, and Jimmy recalls the formation of the band, and the writing and recording of the albums, along with his selection of tracks from both records.
