VIRUS IV - New Track Available

Namur, Belgium-based power metal band VIRUS IV is releasing their debut album, Dark Sun, via Thundering Records later this year. The band - founded by Samuel Arkan in 2006 - features the talents of vocalist Magali Luyten of BEAUTIFUL SIN (side project of ex-MASTERPLAN/ex-HELLOWEEN drummer Uli Kusch) fame. Luyten also guests on the latest AYREON album, 01011001, and will be featured on the upcoming FRAMESHIFT album ((in replacement of JAMES LABRIE and SEBASTIAN BACH).
According to a press release, Virus IV "has a mega melodic music and atmosphere, sometimes Gothic with supporting keyboard colouring the mood or jazzy schematics with some great percussion work. All with intense power and lots of drama, the music of the band sounds from the school of RAMMSTEIN with marching riffs over a forceful stomping marching beat, and floating bridge leads powers up the dark and gloomy ambiance."

Virus IV are confirmed for Namrock Metal Fest 2008, the fourth edition of the annual festival, which is scheduled for March 22nd at Namur Expo in Namur, Belgium.
