VOTUM - New Album Due In March; Details, Audio Samples Available

Polish prog rock/metal band VOTUM have signed a European deal with Mystic Production/Indie Distribution for three subsequent releases. The band's new album, Metafiction will be released in March 2010 - the follow-up to their first offering is also a concept album consisting of seven dark/atmospheric/progressive compositions:
'Falling Dream'
'Glassy Essence'
'Home'
'Faces'
'Stranger Than Fiction'
'Indifferent'
'December 20th'
Metafiction was recorded, mixed and mastered between July-October at Izabelin Studio in Warsaw, where most chart-topping artists of Polish music industry recorded their albums.
Votum recently uploaded two new songs from this album on their MySpace page.
The band comments on the subject of Metafiction: “This album is filled with charming melodies and real emotions – we also did our best not to hide away more aggressive approach known from 'Time Must Have A Stop'. We tried to create music that infiltrates mind, and gives you shivers down the spine – music that is both dark and uneasy, cold and enchanting. We hope that fans of atmospheric music with rock/metal inclinations will find on Metafiction what they like most.”
