W.A.S.P. - Bogota Show Cancelled

Following the announcement on April 3rd that W.A.S.P. had cancelled shows in Mexico (Monterrey and Mexico City), Chile, Colombia and Peru, word has come down that the band's April 6th show in Bogota, Colombia was also scrapped. According to the brief article found here the decision was handed down by the local authorities, citing the March 10th riots caused by METALLICA's first appearance in the city in 11 years (details here). According to the official W.A.S.P. website the band's schedule is as follows:

7 - Teatro Caupolican . Santiago, Chile
8 - El Teatro Colegiales - Buenos Aires, Argentina
9 - Moinho - Curitiba, Brazil
10 - Santana Hall - Sao Paulo, Brazil
11 - Auditoria Adida - Medelln, Colombia
