WINTERSUN Nominated For Emma-Gaala; Further Shows In North America Sold Out

WINTERSUN's album, Time I, has been nominated for the Emma-gaala 2013, in the category "Best National Metal Album". The Emma-gaala is a Finnish music gala arranged yearly by Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland, awarding the most distinguished artists and music professionals of the year. The band comments: "2012 has been a great year for us so far. Besides two successful tours and chart entries in Europe and North America we were extremely thrilled to see the amazing reception Time I got in our native Finland. We're feeling really honoured for the Emma nomination and want to thank everybody who has supported us and made it possible!"
Wintersun is currently on a North American tour with ELUVEITIE and VARG. The recent shows in Hollywood, Oakland, Portland and Calgary have been sold out and there are already no more tickets available for the upcoming gigs in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and New York. Wintersun is touring through the US and Canada until December 21st.
