UK-based experimental progressive metal troupe XERATH have released a new music video, for the song 'Machine Insurgency', directed and produced by David Kenny of Shash Media and shot at Three Mills Studios in East London. The song is featured on Xerath's sophomore release, II, out now on Candlelight Records.

The concept and art direction for the video was the brain child of Sammm Agnew and involves a deathly carbon ooze consuming a hoard of beautiful women who are then surrendered into the Abyss. As viscous membrane surrounds them, they succumb willingly to the power of the Machine.

Check out the new video below:

Xerath bassist Christopher Clark states: "We wanted something dark and visually different. We already knew we were on to something special working with Sammm Agnew and David Kenny, who both also worked on our previous video for 'Reform Pt.

III'. We fully trusted both of their abilities and let them go wild to produce something never seen before. The result is a perfect blend of chaos and beauty."
