Chicago-based progressive metallers YAKUZA is forced to cancel their performance tonight (April 17th) at the Roadburn festival - which is taking place in Tilburg, Holland - due to the volcanic ash hovering over most of mainland Europe and shutting down air travel.

"We deeply regret not being able to travel to Roadburn and we hope to return in 2011," says frontman Bruce Lamont.

Yakuza will release its new album, Of Seismic Consequence, on June 8 via Profound Lore Records. The CD was recorded at Semaphore Recording Studios in Chicago, Illinois with producer Sanford Parker (PELICAN, MINSK).

A track from the forthcoming CD, Stones And Bones, is available for free download at this location.
