YAKUZA Issue Update; Frontman's LED ZEPPELIN 2 Schedule New Live Date

Chicago's YAKUZA is currently holed up writing material for the follow-up to the 2007 release Transmutations (Prosthetic Records). The material will be recorded in July in Chicago with Sanford Parker again at the helm and will be available through Profound Lore Records sometime in October. More info soon.
From Scenester Credentials Records: The vinyl pressing of Yakuza's critically acclaimed Transmutations record will be available in March 2009. We will have a pre-order for the double LP in our online Store. Pre-order packages will include a limited red vinyl version of the double LP, an exclusive Yakuza T-shirt and an exclusive button set. We will also have a pre-order for just the black or red vinyl version of the double LP as well. The vinyl version has the Justin K Broadrick remix of 'The Blinding' included.

Yakuza will be performing Saturday, February 28th at Cobra Lounge (235 N. Ashland - Chicago) along with MINSK and SWEET COBRA. Playing first round 10 PM.
Yakuza will also be performing Saturday, March 7th at Kellys (13312 S. Old Western Blue Island) along with GHOST WAR SECTARA, ENVY THE DEAD and AMSTERDAMMED. Yakuza headlining around 12:30 AM.
Meanwhile, Yakuza frontman Bure Lamont's LED ZEPPELIN 2 - also featuring the members of BUSKER SOUNDCHECK, have booked a new date at House Of Blues (329 N Dearborn - Chicago, IL) on Friday, February 27th.
17+ admitted. Doors are at 7:30 PM, showtime 9 PM sharp. No openers. Advance tickets are $10 ($12 day of) and available here.
