ZAKK WYLDE Sober For 63 Days

The Metal Den is reporting that BLACK LABEL SOCIETY guitarist ZAKK WYLDE's wife, Barbaranne Wylde, Tweeted yesterday on the Twitter page of psychologist Marc F. Kerns, who specializes in alternatives to AA and abstinence, that Zakk has been sober for 63 days.

Wylde is currently installing a new home studio at his residence outside of Los Angeles. He says he expects to begin recording in early 2010 and hopes to release the new Black Label Society album in March.
As previously reported, on Halloween, Zakk will perform a free concert at the Hard Rock Café New York in Times Square beginning at 8 PM. The event will feature a first-hand look at the special line of the signature Zakk Wylde Gibson USA guitar and Epiphone Graveyard Disciple.
In addition to the concert performance, Zakk will host a special 'meet and greet' at New York’s renowned 48th Street Sam Ash Music Store from 4 PM to 7 PM the night before, October 30th.
