ZZ TOP star Billy Gibbons completed guest vocals and played lead guitar on 'Cut the Wire', a new track to be included on the Russian rock band PUSHKING's new album. One of Russia's most popular metal/rock bands, Pushking has released over 15 albums. The band's new CD, "Pushking - Duets," will contain 19 songs covering Pushking's entire discography since 1996 and featuring contributions from some of "the greatest vocalists and musicians" from the world rock scene.

Gabe Reed, an entertainment attorney who represents Pushking and organized fellow Texan Billy Gibbon's involvement in the project stated "Billy is a true legend and we are very thankful that he took the time to make this happen."

In addition to Gibbons, other guests who will appear on the forthcoming album from Rusian rockers Pushking, include Paul Stanley (KISS), ALICE COOPER, Graham Bonnet (ALCATRAZZ), Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE), Joe Lynn Turner (RAINBOW) and Ian Gillan (Deep Purple).

The album is being produced by Fabrizio Grossi, who stated about the project, "I was intrigued by the level of their musicianship and the very open approach they have to their music. Their music includes all the great ingredients of my favorite '70s bands. The record is going to be a concept album and along with the band, there will be lots of great guest stars."
