Plenty happening in the first half of the year, what with all the multi-day events that are cropping up across North America.
In the initial six months, Brave Words took in the 70,000 Tons Of Metal cruise, Hell's Heroes festival (Houston, TX), 2 Minutes To Tulsa (Oklahoma, naturally), Decibel Metal & Beer Fest (Philadelphia, PA), Legion of Metal (Chicago, IL) and Tons Of Rock (Oslo, Norway), as well as East Coast tour stops by The Obsessed, Girlschool/Lillian Axe/Alcatrazz, Judas Priest/Sabaton, the Amon Amarth/Obituary/Cannibal Corpse package, Blind Guardian/Night Demon and local club shows by Philly stalwarts Traitor and Crypt Sermon.
For some, that might be 12 months of activity, but no rest for the weary. While not possible to recap EVERY band witnessed, enjoy a visual recap for some of the more memorable shots. Do you know your metal? How many can you name?
