This year, the lead-off to the four-day outdoors, Oslo shebang hosted Metallica. Sure, there are three stages and a dozen bands today, old & new, across all styles of metal and rock, but the big draw was Lars & Co.
That said, still plenty to sample, including Nervosa, Europe, Rotting Christ, Mammoth WVH and Saxon, to name but a few. Here's a view of what transpired, a full report will be posted next week.
