2007 Ankkarock Festival - DIR EN GREY Confirmed

The 2007 edition of Finland's Ankkarock festival (www.ankkarock.fi) is scheduled for August 4th - 5th at Merikotkanpolku 2 in Korso, Vantaa (Finland).
The first act confirmed for the festival is DIR EN GREY.
A message at the festival's MySpace page reads: "Ankkarock, the traditional close-up party of the Finnish festival season will be organized again in Korso, Vantaa on the first weekend of August, 4 - 5.8.2007. Like always, Ankkarock's program will consist of popular bands from all around world – both foreign and Finnish.
This years' first big international act is the biggest J-rock band Dir En Grey. So far the Japanese band has released five albums and played in the festivals' main stages all around the world. At the moment Dir En Grey is touring in USA and in March the band will release their new album The Marrow Of A Bone.
Ticket sales will start later this spring and at the same time we'll launch the full version of our new website. In few months you will also see who is this years' traditional Duck-figure.
