The 2024 edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal festival sailed January 29 to February 2 from Miami, Florida to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and back, on board the luxury passenger vessel Freedom Of The Seas.

Organizers have released the Day 3 Recap video below, stating: "After 2 days of non-stop heavy metal concert action at sea, our ship (the Freedom of the Seas) cast its anchor at our beautiful Caribbean port of call, Puerto Plata early in the morning.

Sailors in Puerto Plata can spend their day exploring the island, with the option to participate in exclusive Artist Escorted Shore Excursions: Dolphin Encounter & Ocean World Adventure - with member(s) of Blind Guardian and Endseeker, Ocean World Sea Lion Encounter & Snorkeling With Sharks - with member(s) of The Halo Effect & Sodom, Cruise, Snorkel & Beach - with member(s) of Omnium Gatherum & I Am The Night, Damajagua's Fun Adrenaline Waterfall - with member(s) of Tygers Of Pan Tang / Epica, Monkeyland Adventures –  with member(s) of Sodom & Infected Rain or Ocean World Day Pass & Dominican Adventure - with member(s) of Leaves' Eyes.

Upon returning from an eventful day on shore, sailors get back on board to dive back into the heavy metal mayhem. Featured performances on Day 3 include: Grave Digger, Krzyztof Drabikowski's Batushka, and Blind Guardian."
