ACCEPT Frontman MARK TORNILLO Will Be Back On Stage Tonight!

Accept have announced that frontman, Mark Tornillo, will be back on stage with the band tonight, Friday, October 21, in Patchogue, NY.

Says the band: "GREAT NEWS! Mark is doing better and will be able to join us tomorrow again on stage in Patchogue, NY at Stereo Garden! Ticket links (incl. Meet & Greet) available at acceptworldwide.com/tour/. Who will come and see us there?"

Jason McMaster from Dangerous Toys and Watchtower, rocked the stage with Accept last night, Thursday, October 20, at Penns Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA, filling in for Mark Tornillo.

McMaster has multiple things going on simultaneously with regards to music. Cassius King release their second album, Dread The Dawn, today.

McMaster said, "Strange things happen. Never in a million years, would I ever think I would be doing this. It's an honor to be asked to fill in for a few days for great singer and super nice guy, Mark Tornillo. I spoke to him on the phone and he sounded good, healing up from a bad upper respiratory infection. I've been a fan of his and of course, Accept , since high school. Interesting side note, this happening when the new Cassius King record, Dread The Dawn, comes out today. Cassius King hailing mostly from New Jersey, is where the bulk of these Accept shows are and where I sit now. Again, strange things happen."

In addition to McMaster on vocals, Cassius King is Dan Lorenzo (Hades, Patriarchs In Black) guitars, bassist Jimmy Schulman (Hades, Dreams Of Venus) and drummer Ron Lipnicki (Overkill, Vessel Of Light). Dread The Dawn is out today in North America on California's Nomad Eel Records and in Europe on Germany's MDD Records. The band's new video/single for the track "Abandon Paradise" will be out Tuesday on MDD's YouTube page. Dread The Dawn can be heard here.

On Sunday (October 16, 2022), for the first time in their history, Accept played an entire show without a singer. It was announced just prior to the show at The Phoenix in Toronto, ON (Canada) that Mark Tornillo had been taken to hospital for an undisclosed illness and the band decided to go on with the show. Guitarists Wolf Hoffmann, Uwe Lulis, Philip Shouse, bassist Martin Motnik and drummer Christopher Williams all sharing vocal duties.
