ACID REIGN Reissues Out Now Via Lost And Found Records
January 30, 2011, 13 years ago
British thrash legends ACID REIGN’s back catalog has been remastered and reissued via Lost And Found Records.
Formed in 1985, Acid Reign recorded the Moshkinstein demo in 1987, and was soon signed to the British label Under One Flag in 1988 to record the Moshkinstein EP. After gaining support slots with such acts as FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, DEATH ANGEL, NUCLEAR ASSAULT and EXODUS, Acid Reign quickly made a buzz in the metal scene throughout Europe. The band's first full-length album titled The Fear was released in 1989, and their final album Obnoxious in 1990. After the bands break-up, a collection of demos and live tracks were released under the title, The Worst Of Acid Reign.
Legendary producer Bill Metoyer, who has worked with such bands as SLAYER, DRI, SACRED REICH and CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, has remastered all three albums. Included in the reissued CD's is bonus material including the original Moshkinsten demo (taken from the original master tapes), Hangin’ On The Telephone single, and Humanoia EP.
All three remastered albums are also available for download from all major on line stores. The original version of The Worst Of.. will also be made available for download for the first time.
