Gearing up for the release of Adrenaline Mob's new cover EP, Dearly Departed, Metal Wani's Sairaj Kamath & William Richards had a chat with frontman Russell Allen. He discusses Dearly Departed, a new Symphony X album, working with Jorn Lande and Matt Sinner, upcoming tours and much more:
Following the success of their 2013 covers release, Coverta, Adrenaline Mob will release Dearly Departed through Century Media on Febuary 9th in Europe (digital only) and February 10th in North America. For the release, the band recorded a guitar driven version of The Charlie Daniels Band's classic fiddle duel, "The Devil Went Down To Georgia", which you can listen to below.
In a departure from Coverta, the album will feature, in addition to four cover tunes, an unreleased track from the Men Of Honor sessions, three acoustic renditions of songs from both Omertá and Men Of Honor, and an edited version of the Men Of Honor track “Dearly Departed”.
The album, co-produced by vocalist Russell Allen and guitarist Mike Orlando, features the following tracks:
