According to Azcentral.com, celebrities of the Waste Management Phoenix Open teed off under mostly sunny skies Wednesday to raise money for charity.
ALICE COOPER shook the competition with the closest shot on the par 3, raising $40,000 for his charity of choice. Crowds chanted Cooper's infamous summer anthem, 'School's Out', at the behest of the rock star, who lives in Scottsdale.
"It's all about charity and having a great time at the 16th hole," said tournament chairman David Rauch, who called the contest a "fantastic way to start the tournament."
