Greece's Rockpages has issued an interview with ANGRA's Kiko Loureiro regarding the promotion of the band's latest album, Aqua. The following is an excerpt:
Q: You have a new album out called Aqua which was released on September 27th here in Europe. How do you feel about it?
A: "The new album is a result of a lot of work, we had a lot of ideas in mind and we wanted to show the world, what we can do and that means a lot of work, a lot of production, a lot of time in the studio. And another thing, we feel great because we really feel Aqua is a great piece of work, we really worked at it and it is a collaboration of everyone in the band and we are really motivated."
Q: It took you four years to release Aqua. What happened in the four years from Aurora Consurgens to Aqua.
A: "It was not really four years. We did a world tour after Aurora Consurgens and our orbit took more than one year and then we took some time off for about one year and a half. During this time, we did some solo albums. Everybody did some solo work. And then instead of coming back with a new recording, we decided to go on a tour with Sepultura, something we have never done before. That’s why it took longer than the previous album’s, we did two different tours and we had the break in between."
