July 17, 2009, 15 years ago
APOCALYPTICA, the Finnish heavy cellists who first came to worldwide attention with their METALLICA covers album in 1996, have confirmed the re-release of two of their early titles for August 10th via Spinefarm Records UK.
The titles in question are Cult (originally issued in 2000) and Reflections (2003), and both will come complete with bonus material; in the case of Cult this will be three bonus cover versions (two by Metallica and one, ‘In The Hall Of The Mountain King’, by Edvard Grieg), and in the case of Reflections, a bonus DVD featuring promo, live and behind-the-scenes material.
Apocalyptica will be appearing at the annual Bloodstock Festival in Catton Hall, Derby, on August 15th.
