BARONESS To Guest On BRUCE DICKINSON's BBC Radio Show

Georgia-based sludge metallers BARONESS will be a special guest on the January 29th edition of IRON MAIDEN singer BRUCE DICKINSON's Friday Rock Show on BBC 6 in the UK. The show airs from 9:00pm - 12:00am in the UK.

Listeners outside the UK can tune-in online at this location between 4:00-7:00pm EST. If you are in the UK then you can listen on DAB Digital radio, on SKY and TV (SKY 0120, Freeview 707, Freesat 707, Virgin 909).

Baroness recently announced the first dates for their European headlining tour in support of Blue Record. This tour will kick-off on January 18th in The Netherlands, working its way through the mainland and UK. A listing of confirmed tour dates and cities can be found here.

Additionally, Baroness has announced that they will join ISIS for a three-day Japanese tour in early April. This run of dates will follow the band’s first Australian tour where they will be touring as part of the Soundwave Festival with JANE’S ADDICTION, FAITH NO MORE and many more.

Baroness recently premiered the first video from Blue Record, for the track 'A Horse Called Golgotha', online via MySpace Music. The 'A Horse Called Golgotha' video was lensed in the band’s hometown of Savannah, GA with director Joshua Green for The Distillery Collective.

Baroness worked with Greene previously on the band’s 'Wanderlust' video from Red Album.

Blue Record debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and #117 on the Billboard Top 200 during its first week of release. The Heatseekers Chart lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists who have never appeared in the Top 100 of the Billboard 200. Blue Record, the follow-up to 2007’s Red Album, saw its North American release on October 13th and is currently streaming in its entirety at the band’s MySpace Page.
