BIF NAKED - "My Goals Are All About Touring"

Canadian rocker BIF NAKED, who is currently battling breast cancer, has issued the following update:
"Namaste and salutations to you Beautiful People... The week has been ripe with fun and shenanigans for me, as usual. Yeah... one has to 'find the fun' in the everyday. I believe it's part of being 'mindful' and living fully concious of every moment. I find my fun in the constant drag of hospitals by trying my best Don Rickles impersonations. It used to be Eddie Murphy (circa his Delirious era) but I discovered the hard way, that his constant peppering of 'fuck' in his monologue made my efforts unwelcome. Rickles' jokes were a little cleaner. Laughin's good for us. I think it is the very nutrition of the soul.Unfortunately, for the oncology staff, I never shut up. More than anyone else, I will bet they endeavour to get me well enough, so they can kick my gregarious ass out of the cancer center - just to have some peace and quiet! Heh heh. Frankly, my goals are all about TOURING! Like a fucking ten year old with a big dream, I think about returning to my former life every day. EVERY SINGLE FUCKING DAY I dream of killin' myself in those favorite venues where the sweat from us all condences on the low-hanging ceilings, dripping down and drenching us with the sheer rock of the moment. Fuck yeah! Meditate, concentrate, focus on the path. Om nama shivaya. Om hare om.
