BIRTH A.D. Immortalized During Exclusive Photo Shoot At Iconic Texas Locale
October 10, 2011, 13 years ago
Dynamic crossover killers BIRTH A.D. have recently taken part in an exclusive photo shoot at the legendary Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, TX. Created in 1974, this public art installation has become a Texas landmark and has been referenced multiple times in American pop culture.
Bassist/vocalist Jeff Tandy comments, "Texas has a divisive reputation throughout the world, but one thing we've always had going for us is mythology. The image of gunslingers riding horses through blasted plains is eternal, but it's not the only thing that makes the region fascinating. The Cadillac Ranch is an iconic Texan landmark, and it was the perfect place for us to capture the strange and ragged spirit of our home state."
Birth A.D. will enter the studio in January to record the full-length follow up to their Stillbirth Of A Nation EP. The album will be recorded with renowned producer and thrash metal guru Alex Perialas (ANTHRAX, S.O.D., NUCLEAR ASSAULT).
Birth A.D. is currently seeking label support so they can cause problems worldwide.
Birth A.D. lineup:
Jeff Tandy - Yelling, Bass
Brian Morrison - Guitars
Mark Perry - Drums
