BLACK Featuring Former/Present Members Of BLACK SABBATH, HAMMERFALL, KING DIAMOND, VENOM "Hope To Be Ready For The Stage This Fall"

As previously reported, former BLACK SABBATH singer Tony Martin, ex-HAMMERFALL bassist Magnus Rosén and KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy LaRocque and drummer Danny Needham (VENOM) have launched an all-star project called BLACK.
Rosén has checked in with BraveWords.com with the following update: "It feels very interesting with our new band Black. We are working on new fresh metal songs and hope we will be ready for the stage after the summer. Members from Black Sabbath, King Diamond, Hammerfall make a very nice line-up. We are also working on a tour in the end of this year. But so far, it's not official! News will come. It feels very nice to give the metal a new chance. It was four years ago I stopped play in Hammerfall. Only a few metal projects like X-WORLD 5 and REVOLUTION RENAISSANCE with Timo Tolkki from STRATOVARIUS plus few other projects. BLACK is the band we will take in to the future."
Black are currently writing material at LaRocque's Sonic Train Studios in Varberg, Sweden and in England.
Martin mentioned earlier this week that "the first song that came together was called 'Deathless Soul'... it all sounds very dark but I don't expect it to be completely in that vein."
