BLACK SABBATH – Born Again Master Tapes Found; TONY IOMMI Planning To Remix

In a new interview with Sirius XM’s Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk, Black Sabbath legend Tony Iommi confirmed the master tapes to 1983’s Born Again have been found and Iommi is planning to remix the record.

Born Again featured Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan on vocals with Iommi on guitar, Geezer Butler on bass, and Bill Ward on drums.

Iommi said his manager “found a connection” where the master are. "I haven't heard any more,” he goes on. “We're waiting to get these now. They discovered where they were; in some library in some record company somewhere. Obviously, I'd love to do that, I'd love to get that one sounding right. 'Cause I think that was a really good album. And when we'd first done it in the studio, it sounded great. But when it came out on record, it was really muffly and not good. So I wanna try and do something with that."
