BLOOD STAIN CHILD - European Debut Album Hits Top Ten In Germany's Rock Hard Magazine And Metal Hammer Soundcheck Charts
December 24, 2006, 17 years ago
As previously reported, Japanese bashers BLOOD STAIN CHILD released their European debut album, Idolator, on November 27th through Dockyard 1. The album has charted at #4 in Germany's Metal Hammer's latest soundcheck at and at #6 in Rock Hard Magazine.
The following is a review issued by German publication Metal Heart:
"I didn't think of it: A Modern Melodic Death Metal band from the Land of the Rising sun - and them having international potential and format! With their debut Idolator Blood Stain Child present a fat, driving album with influences like IN FLAMES, CHILDREN OF BODOM (the later for the dominating keyboard melodies and loops) and comparable to bands like THE DUSKFALL or our German heroes DARK AGE. Tue Madsen did a great job with it as well. Those ten songs are hits - seems like they had an extra eye on really strong choruses. Visual Kei Death? Why not! Try this!" (Andreas Kais, Metal Heart)
The European version of Idolator - the band's third album - features an altered (and ultimately stronger) tracklist running order compared to the original version, which was released in Japan in 2005. The track list of the European edition is as follows: 'Hyper Sonic', 'Truth', 'Final Sky', 'Live Inside', 'Ag2o', 'Embrace Me', 'Trial Spiral', 'Void', 'Type-N', 'True Blue' (LUNA SEA cover) and 'Truth' (video).
