Swedish death metal "supergroup" BLOODBATH (new band photo pictured at left), who's lineup includes Mikael Åkerfeldt (vocals), Anders "Blakkheim" Nyström (guitar), Per "Sodomizer" Eriksson (guitar), Jonas Renkse (bass) and Martin "Axe" Axenrot (drums), have issued the following update:

"Bloodbath has been confirmed to co-headline this years Party.San Metal Open Air Festival on Friday the 8th of August. This show will be exclusive for Germany and currently the only show booked so far.

This event will mark Bloodbath’s return to the stage with the new line-up and will be the second live appearance ever. Plans have been made to film this show for yet another DVD, so zombies all over the world - start stumble your way to Bad Berka for one of the most brutal nights this summer.
