BraveWords.com scribe Greg Pratt wrote in his review: "The disc is firmly rooted in the more crusted-up hardcore influence that the band had later in their career, as opposed to the gonzo approach to death metal they had in their early era. The goofy album title (c’mon, you could have done better than that) and simplistic lyrics are the only things I don’t like about this excellent disc, which features the debut of guitarist Erik Burke (NUCLEAR ASSAULT, KALIBAS, SULACO), who helps the band continue progressing as if they never missed a beat. Which, on this disc, they don’t."
