Bret Michaels made an appearance on Fox NFL Sunday yesterday, and shared a Veterans Day message. Watch the video below.

Says Michaels: "As the son of a Navy veteran, as well as a grandson, a brother, a nephew, and a cousin of veterans, I have seen the sacrifice of the men and women of our Armed Forces up close and personal. Over the years, not only have I brought these incredible veterans on stage for our fans to celebrate and cheer them on, but I visited many of them overseas at the forward operating bases.

"To those who have served, and continue to serve our country, thank you for providing and protecting our freedoms, the freedom of opportunity, the freedom to rock, the freedom to watch our favorite football teams bring at home go Steelers.

This day, all our gratitude, all our love, it belongs to you. You rock our world."

This morning, Michaels shared the following via social media:

"Good morning and Happy Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Talk about #MotivationalMonday... I ask that you remember this without prejudice, politics or policy - there are those that say, and then there are those that say & do... with a strength & courage... men & women willing to pay the price in a belief of freedom of opportunity. Some paid the ultimate sacrifice. So today, I ask, as the son of a veteran who loves the people of this country & the freedom of opinion, whether we agree or disagree, that we remember it is the home of the free because of the brave.

"A thank you to all of our veterans, our men and women that have served and continue to serve this country!!!"
