Hall Of Metal has issued a new interview with BROTHER FIRETRIBE singer Pekka Ansio Heino. The following is an excerpt from the chat:

Q: How was the recording of this album (Heart Full Of Fire)? I suppose It wasn't easy to reunite all the members in a studio.

A: "We recorded the album in three different studios so it wasn't necessary to have the whole band present every time. Emppu has his own studio where he recorded all the guitars, Kalle recorded his drum tracks in Helsinki's Sonic Pump and the rest was done at Nitro Studios with Tomppa recording. The recordings went pretty smoothly, no problems there. We recorded when we felt like recording, no pressure timetable wise whatsoever. We just had to make sure Emppu's duty was done before he hit the road with NIGHTWISH."

Q: Do you think that Empuu has had importance in the success of the band? Do you think that more doors have been opened?

A: "No question about it. His name obviously weighed alot especially in the beginning. I'd go as far as saying they wouldn't have signed us without him being involved. Compared to the other bands starting out, it was easier for us to draw some attention, but you have to remember that doesn't get you very far if the stuff that you do sucks to seventh heaven...You have to prove yourself quality-wise."

Q: I think that you are conscious of your success with only one album. What do you think are the reasons of this succes, arriving to people that like many different styles than melodic metal.

A: "Kind of hard to say really. Success is of course a relative thing, meaning we didn't sell that many copies of False Metal, but all the reviews were pretty overwhelming and the feedback was really positive. The melodic rock community took us really well, which was great. Initially people were really surprised that Emppu was a part of something like this, which was really funny."
