Buckcherry vocalist Josh Todd was recently interviewed by Australian website Metal Mal. During their video chat, which can be seen below, Josh revealed that Buckcherry has finished recording their tenth studio album.
Pre-production for the currently untitled album began on September 20, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee with producer / songwriter Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe) who was at the helm for Buckcherry's last album, Hellbound, as well as Black Butterfly, All Night Long, and Confessions; Frederiksen also co-wrote "Sorry" from Buckcherry's third studio album, 15.
According to Josh, "The tenth record, it's very special for us. To be able to have ten records is crazy, looking back on everything. So I was really excited to get to this effort. And it's a great record. And I know I'm saying that because we just recorded it, but it's really good; I think people are gonna really love it. Yeah, that will be coming next year, sometime probably beginning of summer."
Buckcherry's remaining 2022 shows are as listed:
November
30 - The Tivoli - Brisbane, Australia
December
2 - Max Watts - Melbourne, Australia
